About the event
These gentle yet transformative classes are designed specifically for healing the parent wound. Whether you grew up with an absent parent(s), a shutdown parent, an alcoholic, drug addict or a parent with mental health struggles, this is a gentle remedy for working through the many feelings and struggles that come from the parent wound. We explore using breath, sound and movement to move from pain and struggle to purpose.
We start out with a grounding practice, incorporate movements, sounds and breaths that help release emotional & mental tension, elevate and open to experiencing more joy and peace. The movement portion is 30 minutes. Then we have 20 minutes for Q&A and community building.
Please know you're not alone in your experiences. Our pain may tell us that no one understands, that we are flawed, unloveable, different or that we are not enough but deep inside we know that’s not true. That's why you're here. You've probably tried talk therapy, talking to friends, maybe even medication to resolve internal struggles. If these experiences left you feeling even more misunderstood, lost, frustrated or incomplete then this may be a great remedy for you!
Come join us in this new gentle yet effective remedy for moving through grief, taking time for healing, self-care, fostering community and opening to new connections.
